Message	Believe it...A Mesonet weather station in Nowata, OK ( not too far north of Tulsa ) recorded an actual air temperature of -31 Fahrenheit this morning at 7:42 am Central time...THIS WAS NOT A WIND CHILL. Anyone in their Z on a morning like this better have healthy fuel lines and good antifreeze...I doubt any Z's were out in it though. It is a new state record that beat a 90 year old record set way back. The huge snowfall of recent days blocked the heat from the ground from reaching the air...so the temperature plummeted. Makes me think of that movie "The day after tomorrow".
